The 11th All-Russian GMP Conference will be held from 15 to 17 September 2026 in Stavropol. The event is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Federal Budgetary Institution “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices” (FBU “GILS and NP”), the principal authorities in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance.

For the first time, the conference will take place in the North Caucasus Federal District. Since its launch in 2016, the event has been staged in nine regions of the Russian Federation, highlighting its nationwide scope and strategic role in advancing the pharmaceutical sector.

The GMP Conference has established itself as a key professional forum for setting new benchmarks across the industry. It provides a platform for regulators to present initiatives while manufacturers and experts share experience and best practice in Good Manufacturing Practice. The conference also serves as a venue for addressing current challenges in assuring the quality of medicinal products in Russia and across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Each year the event reinforces its status as a flagship industry event. The anniversary edition in 2025 demonstrated continued growth in engagement, bringing together more than 1,000 in-person delegates and over 300 online participants. The business programme comprised 12 thematic sessions under the overarching theme “Regulating Today — Building a Stable Tomorrow”.

In 2026 the conference will concentrate on further developing GMP across the EAEU, strengthening inter-agency cooperation and progressing towards technological leadership. Principal topics will include contract manufacturing arrangements, the manufacture of biological medicinal products and other priority issues confronting the sector. The conference’s practical orientation will provide participants with tools to enhance pharmaceutical quality systems and improve manufacturing efficiency.

“Joint work by regulators, manufacturers, professional associations and GMP experts forms the foundation for the future of the domestic pharmaceutical industry. Our shared objective is to ensure patients have access to safe, effective and high-quality medicines. I am confident that the conference in Stavropol will represent an important step towards further raising quality standards across the sector,” said Vladislav Shestakov, Director of FBU “GILS and NP”.
