On 24 September 2021, on the third day of the 6th All-Russian GMP Conference with International Participants, traditional master classes will take place, which will allow to gain new knowledge and improve existing skills. The topical issue of the day dedicated to best practice sharing will be technology transfer in the pharmaceutical industry. Representatives of the Federal State Institution “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices”, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, foreign regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical companies will share their experience.

The spread of technology-based manufacturing methods, models and procedures for development and implementation of cutting edge products is of great importance today. Sharing the best practices makes it possible not merely to increase the competitive advantages of companies, but also to speed up patients’ access to new efficient medicines and treatment methods.

Technology transfer is provided for multiple trends: within the industry, between industries, regions and countries. However, this process goes in both directions between Russian and foreign pharmaceutical companies, since domestic developments enter foreign markets. International technological cooperation is also relevant in the light of a single EAEU market development. At the same time, this trend deals with issues that need to be addressed by joint efforts.

That is why, the conference organizers have announced an open collection of questions from all interested industry representatives. The obtained materials will form the basis of master class programs dedicated to technology transfer in terms of regulatory requirements and GMP inspection.

The 6th All-Russian GMP Conference with International Participants will be held on 22-24 September 2021 in a hybrid format. The event organizers include the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the Federal State Institution “State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices”. The S-GROUP Corporate Communication Centre will serve as an operator. The conference will raise the most relevant issues related to good industrial practices, integration processes in the single EAEU market, Russian export development as well as the regulation of all medicine life cycle areas.
